Democrats Officially Support Infanticide

By Daily Viper / February 25, 2019
daily-viper-baby-bornaliveact

I was going to write about the Oscars today, but after I learned the outcome of the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, I absolutely must include this as the scandal of the day.

I would say this actually qualifies as the most gruesome, disgusting, ghoulish story I have heard in a long time. Today, the Senate was supposed to pass the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which would have required doctors to provide medical care for babies who were born alive after a botched abortion. I can’t believe I’m saying this but by a vote of 53 to 44, the Senate FAILED to pass the bill. 44 Democrats voted against it, including all 6 current Democrat Presidential candidates.

Here’s a couple of quotes by Democrat Senators who claim that this bill is an attack on, you guessed it, women.

“This bill is just another line of attack in the ongoing war on women’s health.” Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH).

“That is the actual intent of this bill, reducing access to safe abortion care would threaten the health of women in Hawaii” Mazie Hirono (D-HI).

Forget party lines. Forget agendas. Forget ideologies. We are talking about live babies, live human beings. Human beings that are already born and that would be left to die because otherwise, this would infringe on a woman’s access to healthcare… Healthcare? Killing your living and breathing baby? That constitutes as healthcare? Not to mention, this bill has nothing to do with abortion, access to abortion, or the question of abortion itself. It has to do with the right of that baby to be treated by medical professionals with the same care that they would treat any other infant. This is a question that shouldn’t even be considered controversial! It is important to note that according to the CDC from 2003 to 2014 a total of 143 babies survived attempted abortions.  There’s good data that backs up that this is even an understatement.

Now this is no longer even in the realm of going back and forth about entitlement reform, or taxes, or gun control, or any other political debate. We are talking about a very hard lined question. Should you save a baby when it is born, or should you proceed to slaughter the baby because the woman was undergoing abortion? It is a very clear question. I don’t think that if your heart is in the right place, there is or should be any room for a maybe. It is a very hard lined yes/no question. And today the Democrat Party overwhelmingly answered this question and showed everyone where they stand on this issue. They voted FOR infanticide, the killing of born children.

As a conservative, it doesn’t make a difference to me if you are talking about the baby being murdered before it enters the birth canal, or after it exits. It is still the murder of a separate innocent human life. Both are abominable, disgusting acts of savagery. But I still remember a time when even people who supported abortions would look at this and not think twice about being disgusted by the idea. The current support for leaving the living and breathing baby to die or completing the “abortion” is ghoulish, it is appalling, it is savagery that would very well fit into a primitive child sacrificial ceremony. If you think of yourself as a decent moral human being and support the Democrat Party, this vote today should very well make you rethink your positions and affiliations.

Props to the Republicans who brought this to the floor and voted for the bill and the 3 Democrats who joined them.

Border Wall National Emergency

By Daily Viper / February 15, 2019
daily-viper-nationa-emergency

It’s been a busy day going between Andrew McCabe’s shocking revelation that people at the FBI and DOJ were conspiring to recruit members of the Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment and AOC’s genius celebration of 25,000 jobs being lost in her own district in New York. But the biggest scandal of the day is President Trump declaring a state of National Emergency. Now, the Left is in its usual initial state of frenzy, as they always are when President Trump does anything, regardless whether it is justified or not. This time, the Right is also in a little bit of a frenzy because we don’t know if that wouldn’t create a precedent for when a looney like AOC becomes President. It actually didn’t take long before our other favorite freshman congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) took to Twitter to reaffirm exactly that.

In any case, I don’t think anything is going to come out of the National Emergency declaration but we don’t know yet. It is an interesting legal conundrum. There are some parts of the US Code that permit the President to appropriate military funding towards the building of a border wall (10 U.S. Code § 284), and then there’s some other codes (10 U.S. Code § 2808) that might prevent him. The courts may as well block him, which could result in a stalling legal battle that would for sure stretch until 2020.

FYI: The National Emergencies Act of 1976 was created and passed by Congress and has been used over 50 times throughout the years, meaning declaring a state of National Emergency is not unusual, or dictatorial, or anything of that sort. Here’s the number of National Emergency declarations each President has issued since 1976:
Jimmy Carter – 2
Ronald Reagan – 6
George H.W. Bush – 4
Bill Clinton – 17
George W. Bush – 12
Barack Obama – 13
Donald Trump – 3

On the other hand, we have the disastrous omnibus package, which the President signed today, in order to prevent another government shutdown. I know, nobody wants another long government shutdown, but this 1,200-page omnibus bill is pure dogs*t. It contains some $1.375B supposedly for a 55-mile stretch along the border but it comes with a number of provisions, including where it could be implemented (the Rio Grande valley sector), what kind of barrier (only bollard fencing), and local officials will have veto power over the wall, which is why the construction is limited to the Rio Grande valley, which has the most liberal counties on the border. The cherry on top of this sh*tpile omnibus is the prohibition of deportation of anyone who is sponsoring an unaccompanied minor illegal alien, or who says they might sponsor one, or lives in a household with one, or a household that might potentially sponsor one. This provision is outright disgusting and wrong as it provides children as a shield for the worst human traffickers and smugglers. The bill also includes more catch and release funding, cloaked in money that is reserved for moving asylum seekers to facilities in the interior of the country where they are released right away. This is undoubtedly a much worse “deal” than the bill that was on the President’s desk in December. So far, that’s not good news but we’ll see what happens.

Wining Women – The Weird Push for Daily Alcohol Consumption

By Daily Viper / February 1, 2019
daily-viper-wine-women

“A glass of wine a day keeps the doctor away.” You’ve probably heard this bumper sticker worthy quote quite a lot, just like I have. But lately, I started noticing this ever-growing “wining” trend grow even bigger. Namely that a glass of wine a day is incredibly beneficial for one’s health. There are countless articles on the internet, we are constantly being reminded of this everywhere in the media, and if you go through the magazine aisle, almost every single issue of every single women’s publication has at least one article that mentions the miraculous health benefits of wine. The widespread suggestion is that if you want to reap the benefits, you should drink a glass of wine every day.

Once this started catching my attention, I just thought it was annoying and kind of corny. The articles usually revolve around a bunch of girlfriends drinking wine and destressing, followed by an absolute reassurance that what you are doing is amazing and that you shouldn’t worry, what you’re doing is actually healthy, followed by some cliché funny comment along the lines of “Don’t save up all your 7 drinks for the weekend.” So now that this wining religion has become ubiquitous, it is starting to get me worried. It’s pretty obvious that the target market is women. I’m still trying to figure out the reason for that, but in the meantime, what I want to talk about is the dubiousness and in some cases pure idiocy of the notion that daily alcohol consumption should even be considered a member of the healthy habits category.

So the main argument is that wine helps protect against heart disease by preventing cholesterol buildup in your arteries. The list of cure-all benefits the media touts that I’ve come across so far includes dementia, sunburn, life expectancy, anti-aging, diabetes, depression, risk of stroke, brain decline, cataracts, cancer, obesity, inflammation, the list goes on and on… You name it, the court of public opinion claims that wine can do it for you and then some. This story sounds great until you start thinking critically about the suggestion of these outlets.

In reality, the ingredient you want to focus on when talking about wine consumption in a positive light is resveratrol. This is the “miraculous” ingredient, which has been linked to beneficial results in life longevity and heart health. However, in our day and age, resveratrol is widely available as a supplement. On one hand, supplements are kind of a black hole. It is an unregulated industry, and while there are studies that suggest that supplements work, there’s just as many others that suggest that supplements are useless. On the other hand, resveratrol is one of those supplements which has gone through multiple studies that suggest considerable evidence of its effectiveness. So when we talk about the benefits of wine, we want to talk about the benefits of resveratrol, not the benefits of drinking the alcoholic beverage itself.

Of course, every article on the subject stresses on moderation, but we are still talking about regular daily alcohol consumption. Would you think the same way if I told you that you should drink a shot of tequila (which, according to the CDC, also falls in the moderate drinking category) every day 365 days a year, or a shot of vodka every day 365 days a year and promote this as a healthy desirable lifestyle? Let’s be clear. I have a problem with this trend specifically because the media outlets keep pushing this as healthy. And it kind of reminds me of the times when smoking was promoted through commercials, the media, and even doctors as healthy.

While you may not be an alcoholic by definition, if you drink one glass of wine every day, you have definitely developed dependency, meaning this has become a habit. This habit is consistently damaging your health, particularly so if you are elderly, and in the meantime, you think you are reaping the benefits of resveratrol, and detoxing. Alcohol, any type of alcohol, is not, never was, and never will be a preventative beverage. Maybe it is true that back in the day, when water sanitation was virtually nonexistent, drinking beer and wine was much safer for one’s health, but in a modern civilized society, that is not the case anymore. And when you read about the Egyptians, or the Greeks, and how they classified wine as medicine or some such nonsense, remember, we’re talking about a time when life expectancy was about 30 years and the Earth was believed to be flat. Ancient Egyptians’s understanding of medicine shouldn’t be dictating your health habits. We live in 2019, we have a better (not perfect, but at least better) understanding of the science behind resveratrol and we know how to get the benefits of those ingredients without the harmful effects of alcohol.

My verdict. If you want to drink wine every day because you enjoy it, it tastes good, or it’s become part of your daily routine, by all means, go ahead. I still don’t think it’s the gold standard for a healthy lifestyle, but assuming you’re an adult, you have the freedom to do whatever you want with your health, no matter how stupid or detrimental it might be. But please, quit lying to yourself and spare me the nonsense about how you drink wine every day because of the health benefits. If you really just want to take advantage of said benefits, buy a bag of grapes, or if you’re able to take supplements, go to your local vitamin store and get yourself some resveratrol. Enough with the argument about the supposed health benefits of drinking alcohol 365 days a year.

Cheers to that.

RANT: Let’s Be Real About Emmanuel Macron and His Wife’s Shady Relationship

daily-viper-macron-marriage

Today I thought I would share my thoughts on French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte because I can’t fathom the nonsensical enthusiastic attitude of journalists and regular Europeans toward their relationship. It’s important to note that I am allowed to express my opinion on their personal relationship because a.) they are both very public political figures and b.) media outlets have written extensively on their magical love life in such a positive light that I can’t leave my two cents out of it.

To Europe, please give me a break with this fairytale nonsense and let’s take a moment to be 100% real and honest about something. Emmanuel Macron was a 15-year-old home-wrecker drama kid and his now-wife was a predatory drama teacher who left her 3 underage children to go after a 15-year-old minor, whose parents sent out of town specifically to avoid his very illegal relationship with his teacher. You can’t make this stuff up. And what’s more baffling to me is how Europe is absolutely enamored with this “love story.” I know Europe has become a waste of space when it comes to right and wrong and their new religion is cultural and moral relativism, but since ABC News calls their relationship “unconventional”, I don’t want this attitude towards garbage like this to get normalized and penetrate America’s mainstream as well. Town & Country Magazine even wrote an article and referred to the critics of their relationship as “ageist” and “sexist”. Why am I not surprised… So let’s go ahead and break this down.

For people who don’t know or need a refresher, Macron and his wife’s romance began when she was his drama teacher in high school. He was 15. She was a 41-year-old grown married woman with 3 underage children, one of whom was in Macron’s class with him and her youngest daughter was 9 at the time. They allegedly first met when he was only 14 and he “wooed” her by being such a mature-for-his-age kid who wrote beautiful poems and was so good at drama that she couldn’t help herself. His parents found out and sent him off to Paris to allegedly avoid the scandal surrounding the relationship of their underage kid with the 40-something mother of 3.

Now, what do you think a supposedly adult married woman with 3 underage kids would do in this situation? I mean, let’s assume a teen doesn’t have the mental capacity to make rational decisions, even though his determination to come back and get her divorced from her husband, as he allegedly promised her before taking off for Paris, doesn’t really make for a decent human being at any age. Let’s give him the benefit of the doubt though, and say he was a selfish irrational hormone-driven young guy. What would the supposedly mature responsible mother of 3 do in this situation? Of course, hop on the train to Paris, leave her underage kids behind, and run after the minor who writes helluva hot poems. When Macron’s parents asked Brigitte to stop seeing their son at least until he turned 18, she allegedly replied “I can’t promise you anything.” This story led to an ugly divorce that stretched over 10 years until Macron and Brigitte finally got married when he was 29, and she was 54 and a grandmother of 7. Feel free to add or correct any details about years and specifics (different sources cite different numbers and years) but this is the overall rough timeline of France’s first couple’s charming story. How are people able to muster up such a level of enthusiasm over this is beyond me.

I know, it gets two to tango. That’s why by all standards of decent behavior at the very least both Macron and his wife are messed up. What 15-year-old kid, infatuated with his drama teacher, swears that he will get her to divorce her husband and he will not stop at anything? True, teenagers are unreasonable, they are selfish and incapable of rational decision making, but man, that sounds malicious and to put it mildly, just screwed up.

Doing a quick online search about their life, I only came across 3 points of criticism, namely a.) the age difference b.) Oh, wow, she was his teacher, can you believe that! and c.) that it is a cover up for a possible gay affair he had. My take on these.

a.) I have no issues whatsoever with their age difference.  Or their gender. Period. In fact, if when they met, she was an older single woman, or an older woman with adult children (that is why I keep pointing out and stressing 3 underage children), who decided to get divorced the proper way because she met some younger adult guy, I wouldn’t bat an eye about them. But that is not the case here.

b.) In and of itself, I don’t have a problem with them being in a student-teacher dynamic at some point in their lives. However, he was a minor, she was married with 3 underage kids. Again, if the circumstances had been difference, I wouldn’t give a flying flip about the fact that at some point in time they may have had a student-teacher dynamic. (Michelle Obama was at some point Barack Obama’s boss, but they were both single consenting adults.)

c.) I doubt it. Besides who cares if he is gay, and if he were in fact gay, I don’t think he’d be covering it up. Not in France.

I don’t want to assume the role of the ultimate moralist here, but this is not a fairytale, it’s a freaking sh*tshow with countless screwed up components. I’m a Trump supporter but you don’t see any Trump supporters effusing with love over his personal behavior when it comes to his relationships. Is Trump a saint? No, he’s not, and no one ever claimed he was. Everyone knows he cheated on his first wife with his second wife, and he cheated on his second wife with his third wife, just like everyone knows that he’s been making hush money payments to his mistresses for years. Nobody’s denying that but guess what? At the same time, nobody’s gushing over his personal behavior with adoration, just like no one should be. We are realistic about it. Doesn’t mean we can’t support his policy decisions, just like the French could choose to do so (or as we’ve been seeing lately, not to do so) when it comes to Macron’s policy decisions.

In conclusion, think whatever you want about Macron, the politician, but stop with the nonsense about the love affair of the century that’s shattering a supposed age/gender stigma. Children reading about this story, relayed with such positivity and lack of apparent consequences behind the culprits’ actions, would start thinking that there’s nothing wrong with hooking up with their 40-something year-old teachers. And vice versa. How about when teachers start ignoring the fact that they shouldn’t hook up with their students every time one of them writes a charming poem they enjoy, delivers astonishing speeches in drama class, or performs great in science class, which in their eyes could be a symbol of the student’s “maturity”? That’s why the media should not keep promoting this shady relationship the way they have been. It is troublesome, it is dangerous, and it is illegal. It was f’ed up then, it’s f’ed up to think of it now, and it would be f’ed up when it happens again.

Trump’s Oval Office Address: Fact-Checkers on a Mission

daily-viper-white-house

On Tuesday night, amidst a government shutdown, President Trump delivered his first prime time Oval Office address to the nation, followed by a response by Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi. But what truly made this, otherwise ordinary thing that every President does, mind-blowing was the media’s treatment of the event.

In short, The President’s address was great. He was sharp, disciplined, on point, and without many (if any) distractions. He was clear in explaining what illegal immigration does to the people and the country, how much it costs, and how dangerous the trek is for anyone who attempts it. All of that makes sense to anyone with half a brain and common sense (regardless of party affiliation.) Walls work. I know it. You know it. Everyone on a gut level knows it, even if they don’t want to admit it because they want to assume the kumbaya moral high ground.

Leading up to the President’s address, however, the media completely lost their marbles. TV networks debated whether or not to even give the President airtime. If they did, they argued, they would be complicit in the dissemination of misleading information, hatred, malice, and such nonsense. The other debate was, even if they did grant him the right to have his address aired in primetime, they would do so only with the presence of live fact-checkers included in the chyron, or even a split screen with fact-checkers. When was the last time we heard such deliberations about a sitting President delivering his address to the nation? Oh, that’s right. Never. Obama hit the screens multiple times every year. And I’m old enough to remember him saying things like “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor,” which we know did not pass the lie detector test.

The media was so scared of Trump addressing the nation directly that they couldn’t stop convincing each other how they shouldn’t cover it. That’s why when they decided that they don’t have another option, they released plan B – the “fact-checkers.”

Don Lemon demanded a live fact-check component and even a delay in broadcasting because, in his own words, the president will be promoting propaganda. Brian Stelter also contributed to the CNN freakout by also demanding a 10-minute delay so that the networks could pick and choose what to air.

The morning leading up to the speech, the media already tried to prepare us by telling us how overworked their fact checkers would be, gasping for air almost, because the upcoming speech would be lie after lie after lie, and they would have to translate those lies for us, the stupid simpletons. TIME magazine released an article just several hours prior to the beginning of the address by giving us an explanation of all the lies we should be prepared to hear and what to make of them when we hear them. But trust me, they are definitely not scared of Trump’s effectiveness when he talks directly to the people, they are just looking out for you.

So let’s take a look at what some of the so-called fact-checkers released immediately after the speech. Here’s what The New York Times fact-checkers were able to scramble. You can tell they reeeally tried hard. I remember when they did the same with Obama, said no one ever.

  1. When the President said that CBP encounters “thousands” of illegals trying to enter the country every day, The New York Times’s rebuttal is a referral to November’s numbers, which constitute only 2,000 per day, not thousands, as the President says. Wooooow, amazing journalisming from the New York Times. See, it’s not thousands, it’s just a measly 2,000. They are just looking out for us. 2,000 per day is a nothing burger, right?
  2. When the President said the government is currently shut down because Democrats won’t allow for funding of the wall, which is factually correct, The New York Times comes back at him by saying that the government is shut down because Republicans won’t give up on their border wall, which the Democrats don’t want to fund. So profound, definitely needs professional fact-checking by the professional fact-checkers.
  3. The President said that Chuck Schumer has repeatedly supported a physical barrier in the past. NYT claims that this needs context and proceeds to explain how…Chuck Schumer supported a physical barrier along the wall. Thanks, NYT, for manipulating us into thinking the President is lying and then agreeing with the President. Watch Chuck Schumer talk about illegal immigration and read his stance on the effectiveness of a border wall, which he now calls “ineffective” and “unnecessary.”
  4. The President says that every week 300 Americans die from heroin overdose and 90% of drugs, including fentanyl, come through the Southern border. New York Times’s rebuttal is that even though the majority of drugs does come from the Southern border, there’s a lot of fentanyl that comes from China. Should I cry or should I laugh at this? Yes, we know that there’s fentanyl that comes from China through regular mail. Everyone and their mother knows that. And Trump has addressed this a million times already. What does this have to do with what you just agreed with? Namely, that the majority of drugs are smuggled through the Southern border!
  5. Ooh, this is a good one! The President says that over the past two years, ICE has arrested 266,000 aliens with criminal records. New York Times lectures us that in 2017 and 2018 ICE has arrested 210,876 aliens with criminal convictions and 55,233 aliens with pending criminal charges. When you add that up, that makes 266,109, so the President is not wrong there. But the NYT continues “But it should be noted that these criminal convictions covered a range of offenses, including many that were nonviolent.” Ok, you see they are not JUST murderers. There’s ALL KINDS of criminals in the bunch! I mean, sure, there’s 266,000 criminals, but there’s such diversity in the crimes committed, like drug trafficking, rape, robbery, etc. It’s not just the measly 4,000 murderers, which is a number that he mentions in the speech. We shouldn’t let Trump be so full of lies and “malice”, to use Nancy’s term.
  6. The President assures the American people that the wall would quickly pay for itself, since it would cost the budget $5.7 billion, and currently drugs pouring through the border cost taxpayers $500 billion per year. NYT claps back by claiming it is $193 billion. Okay. Let’s assume Trump got this number wrong, it’s $193B, and not $500B. Now compare that to $5.7B… Exactly.
  7. Lastly, the Mexico will pay for it claim. Now, I don’t like it when the President uses that primarily because this just provides Democrats with unnecessary ammunition to slap a FALSE claim when their incel fact-checkers start typing in how Mexico will not pay for the wall. In the address on Tuesday, President Trump mentioned that Mexico will indirectly finance the wall through the tariffs negotiated in the new trade deal with Mexico. That may not be a bad thing to include in the speech but it did provide ammo for the NYT fact-checker to claim that the statement is false when juxtaposed to the campaign promise that Mexico will finance the wall.

There you go, folks. The New York Times state-of-the-art fact-checkers who worked overtime to produce this staggering evidence that the President is a baseless racist liar whom the networks shouldn’t have granted primetime. Oh, and walls don’t work at all. That was also touted every 5 minutes, just so you don’t forget that walls don’t work, like ever.

In and of itself, is holding the President to a higher standard and fact-checking him a good thing? Of course it is. Politicians should be held accountable at all times. They work for us, not the other way around. However, that same attitude should be applied across the board in an unbiased, objective manner. At this point, the media is not even attempting to hide their agenda and whose interests they are trying to push forward. They are reaching so bad that they end up with such garbage as the one I just talked about and they pass this as “fact-checking” or “news” or “reporting.” I wish they would come for Democrat candidates and politicians the same way they do for Republicans. But they never do, and they never will.

The True Meaning of Christmas and Why We Do What We Do

daily-viper-happy-new-year

It’s the third day of the New Year and we are already engulfed in the political climate of 2019, namely the new House and Speaker, the government shutdown, and the beginning of the 2020 presidential cycle (maybe Elizabeth Warren is still chugging a beer somewhere trying to find her 1/1024th Cherokee DNA at the bottom of the bottle.) Meanwhile, the Christmas season is officially over and I even began to see people’s Christmas trees tossed out on the sidewalks. Which made me reflect on the season’s celebrations one more time.

Years ago, the Puritans led a movement to purify Christmas  of its pagan imagery. Imagery such as Santa Claus and the Christmas tree. They wanted to make Christmas celebrations focus solely and exclusively around the actual reason for Christmas, which of course is the birth of Jesus Christ. Now, I don’t support the erasure of Santa, and the Puritans did lead an unnecessarily extreme movement here, but they did have a point, maybe even a prophetic one. Right now, we have come to a time when the exact opposite of what the Puritans wanted is happening, when we celebrate a Christmas holiday, which, apart from getting a present under a glittery tree, has no meaning. The Left is taking advantage of that and it is up to us to not let this happen.

I love Santa, the reindeers, presents under the tree, putting up the stockings on the mantel, and the whole magic around Christmas, but it seems that even people who love and celebrate Christmas have forgotten and even avoid the fact that Jesus is the reason for the season. I think putting up the Christmas lights and engaging in Santa’s trip around the world is amazing, it adds to Christmas’ magic and grandeur, BUT the reality is Christmas without Jesus and the Nativity scene is no Christmas. And it is truly sad when I see people who celebrate Christmas, yet never acknowledge why they are celebrating, or even completely dismiss the true meaning of Christmas. The true meaning of Christmas is, of course, a catchphrase that has been circulating throughout the plot of every single so-called Christmas movie from the past couple decades. For all the people who love watching Home Alone every year around Christmastime, don’t forget where Kevin went, even when he was alone, on Christmas Eve. He went to church. That being said, I’m not urging you to be a Puritan sycophant. You shouldn’t erase Santa Claus, Rudolph, and the sleigh. We are not miserable Leftist losers and we shouldn’t become such.

Just know and remember what is in fact the true meaning of Christmas and how important it is to our culture. Just like we should be able to scrape off the vanilla values from the surface and never forget the true meaning and purpose of what we do every day. I hope you had a very Merry Christmas, an amazing season, and I wish all of us a happy, victorious, and prosperous New Year.

Every War Has Its Casualties. Here’s a Tally of Those Who Took a Bullet During This Year’s War on Christmas.

daily-viper-christmas-casualties

Now that Christmas is over, the Leftist gargoyles have retreated to their dwellings until they are ready for the next round of “Let’s Destroy All National Holidays and Make People Miserable Just Like Ourselves” festivities.

We expect to see them again around Easter, followed by Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Fourth of July, among others, and let’s not forget their second favorite problematic holidays Halloween and Thanksgiving, until once again we reach the Christmas season in 2019 when they will creep out of their swamp once again in all their glory, bullying and screeching about sexism, rape, the patriarchy, how evil Christianity and Jesus are, and how Christmas is hateful and unimportant compared to Kwanzaa. It’s almost as if they come out around every major holiday to pick up steam and come up with the latest in SJW talk, but they save their best and most fabulous performance for Christmastime. For 2018, we are only left with New Year’s Eve, which means soon we are probably going to be reminded that we shouldn’t be so intolerant towards people who celebrate the Lunar New Year because fireworks are cultural appropriation or some such nonsense.

So with Christmas 2018 almost over, it is only fair to tally up this year’s casualties and those on life support, which the Left attacked and in some cases was close to destroying completely. I would like to consider this post as a Part 2 to my previous post on the War on Christmas. Every war has its casualties, so here’s a list of all the casualties from this war so far that I know of, so that next year we are reminded of the Left’s insanity, and maybe we can keep expanding it as time goes by (hopefully not though.)

1. Baby, It’s Cold Outside.

Of course, our Number 1 has to be Frank Loesser’s 1944 timeless classic Baby, It’s Cold Outside. This made-up “controversy” started last year but it gained even more steam in 2018 when Leftists decided that this benign song, which predates most of their grandparents, is not really about playful flirting, but about date rape. This year, the war on this song resumed and I’m sure it will continue to take multiple hits next year and the year after.

2. Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer

One of the most beloved Christmas films of all time, this 1964 stop-motion animation was found to be “problematic” on a number of accounts, including sexism, ablism, bullying, and the patriarchy, among others.

3. It’s a Wonderful Life

Alright, you can’t spell Christmas without at some point thinking about James Steward and the story of It’s A Wonderful Life. It just isn’t possible. Kind of like forgetting what the plot of Home Alone is about. Yet, CNN found It’s A Wonderful Life, you guessed it, sexist and misogynistic.

4. Christmas Parties

Calling the Christmas party a holiday party has been a trend for the past years now. However, a lot of companies started skipping their Christmas parties altogether.

5. Candy Canes

Some dimwit principal decided to ban candy canes, out of all things, because they are shaped like the letter J, which to her was a reminder of Jesus, and of course we shouldn’t have any reference to Jesus on Christmas.

6. Jesus

Now I would say Christmas, which literally stands for Christ’s Mass, wouldn’t be Christmas without Jesus, but a school in Virginia seems to disagree. They banned all songs that mention Jesus or Christ from their Christmas concert. Maybe they didn’t realize what the word Christmas stands for, so it wouldn’t be completely out of hand to suggest that as soon as they do, they will ban songs that mention the word Christmas.

7. The Nativity Scene

Just like Jesus himself, the Nativity Scene is definitely not appropriate for Christmastime. Too offensive.

8. The Cross

Jesus, a Jew, takes another bullet here because he is, you guessed it, oppressive to Jews.

9. Santa Claus is a penguin

Santa joins Jesus in that he was also under a LOT of fire this year. We almost have to put together a separate list just for him. Let’s start off with this genius idea over from the folks at SlateSanta should no longer be a white guy, or even a guy, he should be a penguin. Absolutely groundbreaking, Pulitzer Prize stuff over here. I wonder if your brain has to be smooth as a slate in order to get hired by Slate?

10. Santa Claus has a black husband

Like every good feminist from the intersectional coalition, we kicked out Mrs. Claus and got Santa a brand new black husband and very appropriately introduced him in a children’s book. What better way to teach kids diversity!

11. Santa Claus is a woman

What am I talking about. Santa shouldn’t be a guy at all! Santa’s a woman now. Now everything we have to do is make him a disabled lesbian and the intersectional coalition would be happy as a clam.

In other news, we may have lost these heroes in the battle, but don’t worry, at least Illinois installed a sculpture from the Church of Satan alongside its Christmas tree and Menorah, because yay, it’s the holidays! And while communist China has actually banned Christmas decorations, sales, and any celebration of the holiday, I would’t call that necessarily shocking. It is communist China. If there’s somebody who does the war on Christmas best, communists have proven themselves to have no rival.

It is important to note. These are not outliers anymore. This is becoming the mainstream. This is gaining more and more momentum, coverage, and attention to the point where people who actually behave like sane normal human beings are forced to feel at odds with what is the right thing to do. Namely, accept that Santa is a gay penguin with a black husband and ban movies and songs at the behest of the SJW overlords. That is why we shouldn’t give in to this bullying because it is not going to stop. We know from history that the Left doesn’t just stop. With every inch we give, they take a mile, and one day we will find ourselves not even at a Holiday party that is Christmas themed, but at a grey winter solstice party.

In conclusion, I want to point out to a more grave thing that is happening. While I may be writing about all of the insanity with a note of satire, there are real casualties around the world, who do in fact lose their lives during Christmas at the hands of terrorism. One of the recent attacks happened at a Christmas market in Strasburg where people did lose their lives and a lot were injured. While the guy who committed the attack yelled Allahu Akbar!, the press is still reporting that the motive of the attack is unknown. This is the state of the West. We mourn for the people who lost their lives while celebrating Christmas but at the same time, we keep giving in to the social justice Left which undermines our strengths and provides even more leverage to those who in reality want to see us dead.

But at least the Left feels good about itself.

RESUME: The War on Christmas

Daily-Viper-War-on-Christmas

It is that time of year again. No, I’m not talking about the bevy of gym subscriptions that will undoubtedly end up in the gutter by mid-January. It is the time of year when the Left resumes its war on Christmas in the name of tolerance, acceptance, and diversity. Every single year the word Christmas seems to be fading away in public spaces at a faster pace than Obama’s legacy. Every single year there’s yet another song or Christmas symbol that the social justice Left goes on a crusade to ban and destroy out of existence. And every single year we are more and more excoriated if we dare to utter the words Merry Christmas instead of the coveted Happy Holidays.

Everyone, from the barista at the local coffee shop to the doorman at the department store to the cashier to the waiter to the cab driver to your boss, sends you off by wishing you Happy Holidays. One of the things that personally shocked me this year was that my city recently had the official lighting of our “Holiday Tree”. Really? Holiday tree? I am curious what other holiday celebrates the season by having a decorated Christmas tree? Although we have to give it to the city that did not miss out on adding a Peace symbol ornament right next to its LOVE sign. So. Woke. I can almost feel John Lennon whispering Imagine in my ear.

2018 Holiday Tree disguised as a Christmas Tree

People say that there is no war on Christmas. We are just ignorant intolerant simpletons who don’t respect other cultures and are just making up some vast right-wing conspiracy theory by claiming that there is a war on Christmas. I’m sure the Left would be happy to channel their inner Obama by calling us “bitter clingers.” As Dennis Prager very accurately points out in this PragerU video, regular people have started to feel uncomfortable when they even hear the words Merry Christmas. So here I am to say it loud and clear…

No, it is not the holiday season! It is in fact the Christmas season. It is one of America’s national holidays and it is the most important holiday in the Christian tradition. And the Left hates that. Now you may ask why wouldn’t it be the holiday season? Christmas is not the only holiday during the month of December, we should respect other cultures and be inclusive, we shouldn’t be taking over the season. Alright, let’s take the time to examine those other holidays, shall we.

  • First, we got the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah, which begins on a different date every year and is observed for eight days. Now this is not to offend the Jewish culture, I like Hanukkah, but the fact is Hanukkah is not a major Jewish holiday of the same major scope as Christmas is. While Hanukkah celebrates the resilience of the Jewish faith at the face of Hellenism, it does not hold the same value and importance in Jewish tradition as Christmas does for the Christian tradition when we celebrate the birth of Jesus. Ben Shapiro (a practicing Orthodox Jew) wrote a great piece in the Jewish Journal called Hanukkah is Not Christmas. It is definitely worth the read and he’s been addressing this for years now. I have great respect for this tradition and I don’t mind Hanukkah decorations and celebrations alongside Christmas, but if we have to talk about a Jewish holiday season, the time around Christmas is just not it. It would be September.
  • Next, we got Boxing day, which is a British holiday and last I checked we kicked these guys out 250 years ago. All jokes aside, Boxing day is also directly tied to Christmas, so it not being part of the Christmas season doesn’t fly.
  • Next we got my favorite holiday of all, Kwanzaa. If you didn’t catch the irony, this is a secular pan-African holiday that spans over seven days by lighting a candle each day (doesn’t remind us of Hanukkah at all!) and celebrating African heritage and black nationalism. With the radical Left’s blessing, this holiday was invented by Maulana Karenga (born Ronald Everett) a former Black Power activist/communist and convicted criminal, who spent years in prison for torturing a couple of women, so I wouldn’t put him on a pedestal as a role model for holiday cheer. And let’s not forget those 6 and a half people who celebrate Kwanzaa worldwide, so I also wouldn’t call that a mainstream holiday which deserves to be held to the same standard as the most important Christian celebration of the year either.
  • Lastly, some claim that part of the Holiday season is the winter solstice, which every sane person might think is a ridiculous thing to celebrate alongside Christmas (kind of like celebrating a full moon if it happens to coincide with your birthday), but last year, the Philadelphia Ethical Society actually had a winter solstice celebration. Now, they didn’t have a Christmas celebration or anything of that sort, because you know…ethics. Although, rest assured, if they were to celebrate any other holiday, I’m sure Kwanzaa would top their list. So. Woke.

One piece at a time, the Left wants to scrape every bit of Christmas away, until the month of December becomes the month of the faceless holy days and not the month of Advent. Then the Left will realize that holidays has too much holyness in it and they will morph it into the Winter season. Which is actually happening in Europe. The most woke place on Earth. Some places in Europe are renaming their Christmas village markets to winter festivities markets with winter decorations for the winter season, in order to not offend anybody and be inclusive.

So what is the result from trying to bring down Christmas to an unimportant level, to a level where it is just another random Holy Day, and not the most important celebration of Christian tradition? The result is that we will inevitably stray further and further away from our tradition, culture, and values and we will end up in a 100% secular society that lacks a healthy social fabric, one that has erased the glue that sticks us together. The Left hates the fact that Christmas is a national holiday that pays homage to the country’s origins and values. And even though, rightfully so, here we have separation of church and state, religion has in fact played a vast role in the formation and the core principles of this country. Christmas reminds us of that and the Left hates it, which is why they are at war with the Christmas season. The goal is to eradicate and replace it with the much more secular Holiday season.

I’ll leave you with the plain and simple DO NOT be afraid to say Merry Christmas. It is a national holiday, it is a pillar of our culture and civilization, it always will be. Although, just wait until leftists realize that the word holiday comes from Holy Day. Yikes!

Trump Derangement Syndrome : Children’s Edition

I went to my local Barnes & Noble to check out the latest in Trump Derangement Syndrome and to see if I can find a book that could give me a thorough description of the President’s penis. Thank God, Stormy Daniels is coming out with a book that will finally give us a close account of what Donald Trump’s genitals look like. I’ve been losing sleep over the lack of transparency in Trump’s pants for months! Yay for porn stars who remember in close detail how a penis they allegedly saw once 12 years ago looks like. I don’t know how we were ever going to live again without knowing all the details. Anyways, browsing around, I noticed this atrocity. Inspiring Books to Empower Young Readers.

This is obviously one of the many displays that Barnes & Noble puts together every week/month and each time, the display revolves around a different topic. This time, the bookstore has decided to advise young readers/children on how to get empowered and what exactly should be inspiring them. I can already feel the inspiration bursting through my veins.

Let’s take the time to examine every single one of the titles, shall we?

  • Turning Pages : My Life Story by liberal Obama-appointed Supreme Court Justice Sonya Sotomayor. We’re already off to a good start!
  • What’s the Big Deal About Elections by Ruby Shamir, because the Midterms are coming in about a month and of course we have to let children know that they have to vote…Democrat, of course. The author, Ruby Shamir, is a friend of the Clintons and officially endorses Democrat candidates on her Twitter account, so it goes without saying. The Democrat way is the right way, kids, don’t you dare ask why, just go out and vote!
  • FIRST GENERATION: 36 Trailblazing Immigrants and Refugees Who Make America Great because f*ck Donald Trump, he is a racist xenophobe who hates immigrants and immigrants are the reason America became great in the first place (you know, it has nothing to do with the revolutionary idea of individual freedom, God-given rights, limited government, entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, capitalism and free market economics…)
  • W is for Welcome: A Celebration of America’s Diversity because f*ck Donald Trump twice as hard. Borders are a social construct and f*ck borders.
  • What Can a Citizen Do which so far has the most diverse looking cover I’ve seen on a book. No white men, which is awesome! F*ck white men! If we can take away their citizenship, then we could finally achieve world peace.
  • The Cat in the Hat with One Vote, Two Votes, I Vote, You Vote because children know way more about politics than adults and drawing from the rest of the titles on the display the only way to vote is Democrat. Duh!
  • Notorious RBG, the Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, another liberal judge, this one appointed by Clinton (I’m seeing a pattern over here, I don’t see anything about Justice Scalia or Thomas, I wonder why…)
  • Roses and Radicals because Our Revolution by Bernie Sanders would have been too obvious.
  • We Rise, We Resist, We Raise Our Voices because…you guessed it, f*ck Donald Trump, children have to learn how to resist from the outside, from the inside, from everywhere all the way up to the White House, resistance is the way.
  • Inside Out & Back Again by Thanhha Lai. Now you would think, ok, great, a novel, the first one of the bunch. Except it’s a novel about an immigrant girl and her first year in the US without knowing English, because f*ck Donald Trump and his racist idea that people who immigrate to the United States should know English. Next!
  • My Family Divided: One Girl’s Journey of Home, Loss, and Hope. Now repeat after me, children. F*ck. Donald. Trump. Goooood. F*ck. Donald. Trump. Perfect! Next! (Also, remember, we still haven’t skipped a single title in this children’s collection!)
  • Illegal, a graphic novel (You’d think they wouldn’t add a comic book, are you kidding me! Kids love comic books!) “that explores the current plight of undocumented immigrants” according to Google books. Now can I get an AMEN for f*ck Donald Trump once again! Next!
  • It’s Your World : Get Informed, Get Inspired & Get Going! by Chelsea Clinton, because OH MY GOD, the Clinton clan just WON’T GO AWAY and we have to keep listening to their wisdom. Now the poindexters may say “But it’s an inspiring book for children and Chelsea Clinton is not a politician! Leave her alone!” Sure, I’ll leave her alone when I see her book next to Charlotte Pence’s actual children’s book about her rabbit. Besides, It’s Your World is, in fact, a political activist book that includes chapters on Gender Equality, Climate Change, and Poverty.
  • Someone Like Me : How One Undocumented Girl Fought for Her American Dream. Okay, do I need to keep repeating the same thing over and over? We get it, you hate Trump. But what do so many stories about people committing a Federal crime have to do with inspiring children?
  • The Distance Between Us by Reyna Grande, which is yet another memoir about an illegal immigrant crossing the border and their hardships doing so. How about applying for a visa? How about doing it the right way? How about working for the right to be in a certain country? Have you thought about that, or is that too racist?
  • A Long Walk to Water by Linda Sue Park, which is apparently another memoir by a woman, this time it has to do with refugees from Sudan. This one has to instill, of course, the idea that refugees are ALWAYS a good thing and we should welcome every refugee with open arms. What’s happening in Europe is just a figment of people’s imagination, don’t worry, ALL refugees are good.
  • I Am Malala is probably the only title that would be appropriate in this section, since her story could be categorized as inspiring, but I’d be a lot more thrilled if I saw her book among a better curated and more balanced choice in this display. Oh, and don’t mind that her book was placed on the bottom row. I mean, before children learn that Muslim countries don’t allow women to go to school, kids HAVE to learn how oppressive and misogynist Donald Trump is. Now bear with me, we got two more titles.
  • Lifeboat 12 by Susan Hood. Now this is an interesting one. It’s set during World War II and tells the story of a bunch of boys who are struggling to survive on a lifeboat. I don’t know what the unbiased curator was thinking here. Maybe they failed to read the description on this one, thinking that Lifeboat 12 has to be about illegal immigrants crossing the Mexican Gulf or “refugees” crossing the Mediterranean. Who knows? But it somehow ended up in this selection.
  • Last but certainly not least, we have You Are Mighty: A Guide to Changing the World, which is a “kids’ guide to activism for those with a fierce sense of justice” according to Google books. In other words, Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals but this one is the special Children’s Edition. You gotta get your future activists’ feet a little wet before you put a pussy hat on their head and a “This pussy bites back!” sign in their hands.

Whew, someone HAS TO give me a medal! Going through all of these was pure torture.

Now my problem is there is not even ONE title (Ok, except for maybe two) that evokes even the slightest semblance of neutrality, let alone a differing right-leaning or even libertarian opinion. Every single one of these titles is left-leaning. Some of them far-left leaning and straight up promoting a Federal crime like it’s the most righteous and honorable thing to do ever and THAT is a problem. What is even a bigger problem is this is a display directed at young children. Shaping their opinions and worldview, what is right and what is wrong, what they should get inspired by and what they should oppose.

The truth is young people and children should be introduced to all sides of a story, they should be objectively educated and introduced to all kinds of opinions and viewpoints. This choice of titles does not educate, it indoctrinates, it brainwashes, and it shows the world through a one-sided prism. This is not innocuous. This is the foundation upon which a young mind is going to develop into an individual who will inevitably think that someone is a straight up Nazi if they don’t agree with him or her. Then we wonder how we ended up with emotionally incontinent young people who become hysterical over a political candidate losing an election, or the safe spaces that young adults supposedly need to shelter themselves from opposing opinions. This is how. And it is wrong, it is unhealthy, and frankly, it is very frightening.

I Feel Sorry for Tess Holliday

One of the biggest figures (no pun intended) of the fat acceptance movement aka the love thyself movement aka #effyourbeautystandards (Jesus Christ, I’m gonna get brain aneurysm before I’m finished with this…) Tess Holliday, appeared on the cover of Cosmopolitan UK and to the SJWs out there this was the greatest and most woke progressive thing on the planet.

Now, as a conservative, my problem with this is different from what you might think. Up to that point I simply knew who Tess Holliday was, never paid much attention to her or what she is doing, so now I decided to check out what her deal is. Her entire Instagram consists of modeling pictures, some nudes, some semi-nudes, some just showing off clothes, or some simply showing us how fierce she is by…showing us more brave nudes and semi-nudes. All of them are accompanied by the hashtag #effyourbeautystandards and some caption that revolves around her and how beautiful and amazing and great she is. In some, she is boasting about her state-of-the-art health. And then there’s the comments. All of them are effectively cheering her on and entertaining her image of beauty and superiority, which brings me to my problem with this woman. I can’t stop but think about how sorry I feel for her. I truly am.

I feel sorry for her and for everyone else in the fat acceptance movement. Seriously. These are a bunch of people whose history of bullying and lack of self-confidence has ultimately led them to having zero self-awareness and ownership of their flaws. They simply cannot admit that whatever they may be doing in terms of diet or exercise may in fact not be the right thing. Not for them, not for humanity, not for the sake of truth and definitely not for the future of proper medical diagnosis. In their world, acceptance and preservation of feelings is all that matters. Everything that revolves around them is justified. Severe obesity, like Tess’s, is not okay. Those kneecaps are not going to replace themselves after you’ve exhausted them of their life power. You got one pair of kneecaps for the rest of your life.

Now I don’t like the hateful comments toward the woman either. Simply going after her about how obese she is adds to her convictions that she should just eff your beauty standards. I can’t stress this enough, but IT IS NOT ABOUT ANYBODY’S BEAUTY STANDARDS. It’s about what is right. And what is right is to at least acknowledge and have ownership of the fact that you are not perfect, work on yourself, on your health, on your body. Be the best possible version of yourself. I’m sure what we see on that cover is not the best version of Tess Holliday possible. You ARE able to give those joints a little bit of help. Instead, what the fat acceptance movement is trying to do is somehow tell US that we are the problem and that it’s all a societal construct. That being obese is not in fact being obese, it is just a societal construct made up by the patriarchy. Bullshit.

I genuinely feel sorry for her. She’s still young, but at this size, her life-expectancy doesn’t look too good and the people who keep cheering her and creating a cabal around #effyourbeautystandards are an enormous part of the problem. I think this is nasty and it eventually won’t end up being beneficial for Tess Holliday and her peers. These people want all of us to skew our idea of what is good and what is bad. It is one thing to say I am weak, I can’t lose weight but I still acknowledge that there is a right order to things. It is a completely different thing to say that there is no such thing as healthy and unhealthy, good or bad, right or wrong and everything is subjective. For that, once again, I feel very sorry for Tess Holliday.
